SPRING BREAK 2k15

IT IS FINALLY HERE. YAY. MORE TIME FOR HOMEWORK AND CHILLING. OH I AM SO HAPPY. MY HEART IS OVERFLOWING WITH JOY.

anyway, I am in the airport now and something interesting happened today. So, Kenah was set to fly off at 125pm, so I had to come earlier - this meant a 3 hour wait, AND I had to leave early. I was hungry cause Canes was only open at noon and everything else was close (or just nothing much that was worth eating for brunch). After checking in and all, I went to find food. The moment I start looking at the menus, this woman kept saying "Ma'am, ma'am,..", (which I find a little odd but whatever) and I turned around and looked at her - she was holding a bag. "...me and my family we got 2 sandwiches, we didn't know it would be so big and we couldn't finish it. We are about to board now and we don't want to be carrying this sandwich around. It has mustard sauce and stuff on it, and I was wondering if you would like to have it?" At this point I was reluctantly saying, "uh yeah, I was kinda looking at the menu, but yeah sure, why not (I was doubting her for sure), thanks", then she kept reassuring me it was good and all. And I said thank you briefly - still in a little bit of shock, took the paper bag and walked away.

Uh ok.

Well, let me backtrack a little bit. OK food is an essential I know. It is something I NEED. But money was a concern for me. Was kinda bummed to have to spend even more (since I already have meal plans from campus and this week I have spent A BOMB - on many other things), and so I suspiciously took the sandwich from her. I know, I know, never take food from a stranger - no.1 rule. BUT I CHECKED, opened the brown bag and lo and behold - an unwrapped burger/sandwich.

I quickly prayed and thanked God - and it was the best sandwich I had in a long time. Partly because I was hungry, and also the bread was so good! Kind of like English muffins.

And it was the first time ever I felt like God was really looking out for me. Too unreal, the lady was literally God-sent to me. I mean, being a college kid in a country that has a currency almost four times - you tend to worry a little bit every time you take your card out to swipe. And today, God fed me.

It means so much to me. Ah, isn't Jesus too good? :)
